Payton brings a rich, well-traveled background to her role as an Administrative Assistant at 5W&Co. Born in Lawton, Oklahoma, into a military family, she had the opportunity to live in numerous locations growing up before her family settled in the Virgin Islands when she was nine. That upbringing gave her an early appreciation for adaptability and connecting with people from all walks of life. These skills translate directly into her work identifying and developing talent today.
Payton’s work ethic took root early when she began working at 15 as both a nanny and a movie theater cashier, balancing responsibility from a young age. At 16, she relocated to Ohio with her mother, where she completed high school and has called it home ever since. That blend of early independence and diverse life experience shapes the way she approaches recruiting, with genuine curiosity about people’s stories and a sharp eye for potential.

Grace has been part of the 5W&Co team for roughly two years, bringing energy and dedication to everything she takes on. She is currently pursuing a degree in Elementary Education at Liberty University, with minors in Psychology and Family and Childhood Development — a foundation that reflects her genuine interest in understanding and supporting people, both inside and outside of work.
Outside of her professional life, Grace finds joy in the simple things: spending time outdoors, sharing her faith and the ways it has shaped her life, and gathering with friends over a good meal.
